ScienceGov en V.3

Le portail et moteur de recherche Science.gov vient d'être mis en ligne sous sa nouvelle version. Les nouveautés :

    * Query input improvements
          o Terms automatically ANDED
          o Phrases using quotation marks identified
          o Boolean searching enhanced
                + Accepts logical operators AND, OR, NOT
                + Supports parentheses and wildcards

    * MetaRank
          o A sophisticated method of ranking the results of your science queries
          o Uses the metadata available – including information within abstracts and snippets – to rank queries

    * Early viewing of results
          o Allows you to begin working with results while Science.gov continues to search databases in real time
          o When your search is complete, you can retrieve the additional ranked results

    * Enhanced Advanced Search
          o Enhanced fielded searching
          o Ability to match ANY or ALL fields
          o Ability to search the full record

    * More intuitive site navigation
          o Easy to use drop-down menus
          o Context sensitive help
          o Session preferences link

    * Permanent Link
          o Navigate directly to the original document by selecting Permanent Link
